017 | Realizing I’ll Probably Never Be a Mom

I’m gonna be real. In this episode, I get a little bit rambly trying to make a point. You’ll have to hit me up on Instagram at @sa.brina.brina and let me know if you think I succeeded in this point or not, but here’s the deal. In this episode, I talk about taking a week off for my birthday and what it was like to realize that moms have a lot of support and it hitting me that I’ll probably never be able to relate to what they experience because I’ll probably never be a mom.

I talk about how I never thought this would be the reality for me and how I’m trying to figure out what that means and what life looks like from here. I talk about the stigma and shame that comes from being a kidless woman, whether by choice or by circumstance.

In this week’s episode, I don’t have tips or strategies for how to live a healthy life. In fact, I share more from my business perspective rather than a healthy life perspective because I think it’s important to bring you along with my thought process as my business unfolds. That said, I do have some thoughts and support that I share throughout the conversation that I hope gives you a little boost of encouragement if you’re navigating a challenging or isolating situation.

While talking about the people I’m looking to support with my business, I referenced episode 14, Rebuilding After a Life Change. If you missed that episode, you can check it out, here.
